Alongside her modeling career, McDougal ventured into entrepreneurship, co-owning a company that sells health and wellness supplements.

Due to her family history of breast cancer, McDougal is actively involved in various cancer awareness programs. In 2017, she made the decision to remove her breast implants. McDougal reveals that she struggled with health issues, which she now attributes to her breast implants, for over ten years. Her health problems started eight years after she underwent implant surgery. McDougal described a cycle where she would fall ill for six to eight weeks, recover for a month or two, only to become sick again.
